Tour Highlights
Cape Town may be full of life, but the Southern Peninsula tells a wilder, more scenic story. Our Penguins, Peninsula & Pinotage tour takes you on a day-long journey through one of the most breath-taking stretches of the Cape. We begin in the vibrant coastal town of Hout Bay, famous for its picturesque harbour and as the gateway to Chapman’s Peak Drive—a winding cliffside road with jaw-dropping views, rich biodiversity, and even a former WWII lookout post.
Next, it’s time to meet some of the Cape’s most beloved residents: the African penguins at Boulders Beach. These tuxedoed locals waddle freely along golden sands and rocky coves, offering unforgettable photo opportunities in their natural habitat.
From there, we break for lunch at a seaside gem, serving up fresh seafood with panoramic ocean views. Afterward, we visit a charming coastal town known for its bohemian spirit, quirky boutiques, artisanal eateries, and working harbour. A stroll through its colourful streets and along the water’s edge offers the perfect blend of culture and coastal charm.
To end the day in true Cape style, we head to a historic wine estate in the Constantia Valley—South Africa’s oldest wine region—for a relaxed tasting among vineyard-covered slopes. With mountains, oceans, wildlife, and wine all in one day, this tour captures the essence of the Cape in every way.
